This year’s Fashion’s Night Out has exactly one million events (don’t quote us). To prepare for Thursday, we bribed a few cabbies, cleared space in our closets, and put together a guide for where to gulp free drinks, score schwag, and perhaps do a bit of shopping.
What: DailyCandy and Fresh
Why: We’re invading the feel-good beauty brand’s newly renovated shop. Meet Fresh founders and DailyCandy editors, get $1 skin consults, sip prosecco, and nibble on Baked by Melissa cupcakes.
When: 6-11 p.m.
Where: 872 Broadway, at 18th St. (212-477-1100). Map It
What: Hester Street Fair at Henri Bendel
Why: An old-meets-new world market with more than 50 local artisans and indie designers. Create a terrarium at Casa Helecho, watch Brooklyn artist Diane Vadino cut paper designs, and eat Berkshire pork buns, pies, mini cupcakes, and paletas.
When: 3-11 p.m.

What: Thistle & Clover
Why: View The Thistle & Clover Diaries (featuring BRVTVS, Myne, Rachel Rose, Thomas IV, and more), check out designer inspiration boards, and down mini peach hand pies.

Why: Robert Geller and Rachel Comey in the flesh; exclusive dresses, tees, and totes; Morris Grilled Cheese bites; Tito’s cocktails; and music from Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem.

Why: The shop turns 1 and blows out music from local bloggers Left as Rain and specials on fall collections (Dusen Dusen, The Addison Story, Won Hundred) instead of candles. Capture the moment in a photobooth.

Why: Designer Lauren Moffatt and CaliVintage blogger Erin Hagstrom grill out with beer, wine, and live music.

Why: Sips, frocks, and designers at Albertine; a gentlemen’s boudoire at Overbey & Dunn; a black and white party at A Man and a Woman; and dark, dapper frivolity at Doyle Mueser Bespoke.
